Catch anything?thanks for showing how it's done.
No didn't catch anything. Didn't really expect to. This place was a large pond really, I don't think the fish were big.
I did ask some locals and they said they don't know what's in there. So I came there not even knowing what I'm fishing for so had to gamble with my bait. I did find a dead fish on the shoreline and that fish was super small (that's what she said). I didn't even have hooks small enough for that fish to swallow. I was doomed for failure since the beginning but thought I'd get out of the truck anyhow.
That place was infested with seaweed. It wasn't easy haha!

Out here in south texas.....we put green sliam in everything we ride.....you should put it in both of your tires. Then no more worriers.๐
Hey that's fishin.it's still better than anything else, catching or not.biking runs a close second.i,m really enjoying this thread-you're showing it's possible to still enjoy life otr.
OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.

Great thread. I plan on bringing my mountain bike once I upgrade to solo .... I'm currently on TNT on the tanker side so I can't wait to be done.
Prime Inc has their own CDL training program and it's divided into two phases - PSD and TNT.
The PSD (Prime Student Driver) phase is where you'll get your permit and then go on the road for 10,000 miles with a trainer. When you come back you'll get your CDL license and enter the TNT phase.
The TNT phase is the second phase of training where you'll go on the road with an experienced driver for 30,000 miles of team driving. You'll receive 14ยข per mile ($700 per week guaranteed) during this phase. Once you're finished with TNT training you will be assigned a truck to run solo.
Just saw your link to "the bike ramp incident"! still laughing at that!
I applaud you for taking the time to get out of the truck and enjoy this country. A worthy goal for me as I get started.
Everyone, its finally here! A video of how to strap your bike to your truck!
I waited a little while to post this video for one reason: I wasn't 100% sure it was legal and we did have a debate about it not too long ago. I won't put anything on here that's not proven to be legit. I had a Level I - Full Inspection at a CA DOT Inspection Station and I talked to them about my bike. They said it was perfectly legal - but only because of my bike chain.
Here's the link. Any questions please ask! It is critical that you use a bike strap/chain not just only bungees.
