Hahaha it wasn't me as you can see he is more interested in playing videos games and riding a bicycle than running hard and getting paid right now but all that will change once he gets those 5 kids...

I've already done that running hard part. Burnt out and want to be home more often. Everything is still new and exciting for you that's why it's so easy to "just run hard all day". Your focus shifts over time.
And it's really not about playing video games, it's just having the freedom to do as I choose. As you know, if we weren't driving we were practicing pretrip or backing. Not my cup of tea. I make good money solo no reason to take on even more responsibilities and headaches for a small chance to make slightly more money.
A truck drivers DAC report will contain detailed information about their job history of the last 10 years as a CDL driver (as required by the DOT).
It may also contain your criminal history, drug test results, DOT infractions and accident history. The program is strictly voluntary from a company standpoint, but most of the medium-to-large carriers will participate.
Most trucking companies use DAC reports as part of their hiring and background check process. It is extremely important that drivers verify that the information contained in it is correct, and have it fixed if it's not.
When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.
It's not all about money , you have to enjoy your time or there's no point in being out there ! Stay safe .

Exactly. What's money if you're not happy?
We're all going to pass away one day. You won't look back thinking about your money. You'll be thinking about the quality of life you've had and how you've lived as well as the good times.
Here is my thoughts on this issue. Some may agree and others may not. That 's a personal choice. Which is exactly the root of what Daniel is talking about here. As a trainer in another field for 25 years I saw alot of trainers and students. All of us are different. I can say one thing for sure. You can spot a trainer that is truely passoniate about what they are doing, it reflects very clearly. You can also spot those who are not very clearly. Training is a huge responsibility and liability that should not be taken lightly . I fully appreciate Daniel trying this and recognizing at this time that is not what he chooses to do. That is very comendable. I have seen trainers who do it for a few extra bucks. The ones who suffer are the students with those types of trainers. Everything in this life is a choice, remember to choose wisely!
