I too haven't parallel parked since schooling. Its mostley part of the CDL exam more than anything..

I myself have used it quite a bit since school. It's always at the rest stops in mass though. There's not usually any pull through spots left but there's always a spot song the guard rail which I parallel park into. It's really not that bad after a while, you just get used to how the trailer moves. Don't sweat it you still won't use it much but it pays to know how.

Well, I'll just add that it was not part of my schooling and also not part of my AL state exam. I would like to learn, though.
Learning is hard, it just takes practice. I think there's some YouTube videos on it..
