License Suspension Less Then A Year Ago... Any Hope??

I'm trying to get into a company sponsored cdl program but my license were suspended for failing to pay a non moving violation ticket. I got everything taken care of about 3 months ago however I've been denied at both prime and Swift because they require a valid license for at least 12 months. C.R. England recruiter Said i should be fine but wasn't very insuring plus the bad reviews. Is there any hope for me in this industry sooner then a year. I can't wait!

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

I might add swifts recruiter didn't deny me until I brought up the fact that my license weren't valid for 12 months. I mean she was ready to give me my greyhound ticket. Will recruiters really have you go through so much just to be turned around when you get to school??
