Hey all thanks for the input, I use to live in Ak, I would like to start driving there, just don't know who to contact, got one Prime, thanks, RedGator that's a start for me. As for daylight yes it does determine growth and make for amazing veggies, I have seen some of the pumpkins and squash at the fair, they are huge. I got to live there for four year Anchorage area. If you have not been there go see for your self, you just might not come back.
Carlile has terminals in the lower 48 and a few in Alaska but their driving jobs require 3 years experience.
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
My other half went to alaska as a flatbedder. He was hauling heavy equipment up to Prudhoe Bay. He drove for an O/O who was leased to Mercer at the time and he booked his own loads.
My company hauls chemicals up there a few times a year. A friend of mine sent one of his trucks up there last year and he said when it got back it looked like someone took a sand blaster to the front of it. I don’t think I need to go.
