No they should not make you pay for it as you are a company driver but if they do then if should not go on your record. Sort of an off the books type of deal that a lot of mom and pop small trucking companies sometimes do.

I definitely am taking it as a wake up call! Exactly as you said Brett I let my guard down and definitely learned a lesson. And I technically drive for swift and I know I'm not the first to have done this and the on-road maintenance guy assured me that I won't be the last lol. I'm not taking this lightly and you can bet that I won't forget about it. Thanks for all the advice guys I greatly appreciate it!!smile.gif
