No doubt this is the FINEST training system on the Internet. The BIGGEST reward I am seeing is the confidence I have in my classes, and the ease of understanding the material, and doing well in the practice tests we have in class..NOW if there was only an on-line training system for double-clutching!!!! THANK YOU BRETT!!!

I took my permit test on Monday (all endorsments) and only studied the HRTP, I passed everything except the HAZMAT on the first try. There were some questions on the Missouri test that I had never seen on the HRTP that tripped me up a little but not enough to fail. I got the HAZMAT on the second try!!

The HRTP is an awesome tool to study but I would recomend reading your state's CDL manual over good too!

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

HAZMAT:

Hazardous Materials

Explosive, flammable, poisonous or otherwise potentially dangerous cargo. Large amounts of especially hazardous cargo are required to be placarded under HAZMAT regulations

Read each question 3 times before answering it.

1st read: you're still thinking about the last question.

2nd read: you think you know what you read.

3rd read: you're clear on exactly what the question is asking.
