One of these days I'll find some straps to throw over my tanker/take a picture and finally post in this thread.😁
Yes Sir, four wing nuts on the dome lid, 10 seals on all the openings and that load is secured. Tarps? Straps? Chains? I'll have to google these terms...
Finally get to add something to this thread. A big block of Granite.
That is a nice rock! How much did that weigh?

It weighs 39,330 lbs
So far, I love the diversity of the stuff I am hauling.
42,000lb Caterpillar track

OMG! I can't believe that one track weighs that much. Wow.

That's what I thought too!
If I had to guess, probably for a D11T Dozer. The complete unit weighs in between 230-240,000 depending on the blade and rear attachment. They're a blast to operate.

They would need a crane to change a track. Holy crap!
Here's another load of nice shiny metal, formed into interesting shapes. I'm pulling it out of the HYDRO plant in Cressona, PA. It's the only place I go that is harder to get out of than Rainy's dungeon.

Not sure... those could have been SIPs (structural insulated panels). Factory built in environmentally controlled factory. High precision, uniform results, quick assembly onsite are the major benefits. Low waste and recycling of most scrap too. They can be made from a CAD drawing with door and window openings pre-cut. Very good choice for tiny houses, DIY builders, etc..
