Finally get to add something to this thread. A big block of Granite.
How many ancient Egyptians with levers, ropes and dirt ramps did it take to load that?
Too many!
I was watching my mirrors more than the road with this one.

My very first Final Destination load.
I put 71k lbs of securement on a 41k lb load.
I noticed I don't get tailgated with this load, like I usually do. 🤔😅
Look like those logs would make great rollers for the Egyptians to use on your next 20 ton granite block.

Hahaha!
When I first got this load put on me, the load planner called, and said "I know you stated that you wanted at least 6 months experience before pulling a load like this, but if you can pull a coil, you can pull this. Besides, get to your fuel stop, do a 34, and deliver on Monday. You will be happy you did. Throw as much securement as you want, you can never have enough.". So I did!

I thought logs required chains?
I had thought so, too, but These are technically utility poles. Not fresh cut trees. I guess there is a difference.

Logs get straps, as long as these are on a trailer with upright stancions.
