Next time by with one of those CATs, see if you can get one to shake loose from the tie downs....
When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

Never thought of that when I've seen these before.
My Over Dimensional Jungle Gym....
This one definitely took some time. It's loads like these, that really make this job FUN!
Wow, that definitely looks like a fun one. You're absolutely right, it's the challenge that makes it fun.
Good grief! Glad it didn’t require tarps. How many straps?

My initial thought when I pulled in to see this, (pre loaded trailer), was, SERIOUSLY?!?!
I only had 1.5 hrs left on my 14, and knew I would never finish. So I informed my planner, dropped my MT, and bobtailed 2 miles down the road to a mom n pop. This allowed me to create a good game plan, and when I pulled back in, I hit the ground running. 18 straps, and 2 chains later, I pulled into our yard, to have it checked out, and replace a few questionable straps.
"Bobtailing" means you are driving a tractor without a trailer attached.
You guys deal with all that, I'll stick with swinging my doors. I contemplated doing flatbed work but I would likely drive myself crazy always second guessing the way the load is secured. flatbedders are definitely a different breed.
