Rain. Wet. Straight line backing, drop and hook , pre trip. All day long now that we finished the green book. Went on my first road ride yesterday and it was pretty fun. Was a little nervous but my instructor explained and guided me through the shifting process. School is great and I know I'll have bad and good days...just have to keep chugging. My pre trip for the road test is going great, I have it down to 8 minutes. Anyways, that's all folks! Have a great day on the road!

Drop And Hook:

Drop and hook means the driver will drop one trailer and hook to another one.

In order to speed up the pickup and delivery process a driver may be instructed to drop their empty trailer and hook to one that is already loaded, or drop their loaded trailer and hook to one that is already empty. That way the driver will not have to wait for a trailer to be loaded or unloaded.
