Cody P.
I also start Prime on the 18th.
Hope to see you there Brian!
Without divulging information you would rather not share, I'm curious of the age ranges of people here... No other reason than curiosity ha Let's say i fall into the 40-50 range. Please follow up with us on your adventure, would really love to hear!
Well haven't had a chance to update for a few days, been very busy. It is now day 2 of my psd phase. I was one of the lucky ones to get a trainer on Thursday. So two days of driving 400+ miles a day. I was rather suprised when my instructer had me driving right from the moment we left prime. Lol. But nothing like diving right in. Well we are currently headed to Maryland for our first drop, and have anouther 400 to go. And good luck to you guys just starting out.
Prime Inc has a CDL training program and the first phase is referred to as PSD. You'll get your permit and then 10,000 miles of on the road instruction.
Prime’s PSD begins with you obtaining your CDL permit. Then you’ll go on the road with a certified CDL instructor for no less than 75 hours of one-on-one behind the wheel training. After training, you’ll return to Prime’s corporate headquarters in Springfield, Missouri, for final CDL state testing and your CDL license.

Not shy to say I am 35 :)
Well I now through my first week! We managed to get in over 3500 miles. I've already logged about 45 hours behind the wheel. Hope to test next week. Currently sitting in Texas on a 34 hour reset.
It seems crazy, the front desk at the hotel said there are over 100 people here for the 18th orientation. Prime really rakes in as many people as the can, and they have an orientation every week
Hope to see you there Brian!
I believe I was sitting right next to you lol. Navy EMS Tshirt for breast cancer awareness.

I applied on the 29th of July and got everything set to go on the 5th of August. They must have offered me your spot on Monday the 11th, she said "I had a spot open up on Monday the 11th if you would like to leave soon". I turned it down cause that would only give me a few days to prepare so now I'm waiting for next Saturday and I'll be headed to Springfield from Gainesville, Florida. Can't wait to go and start my future but at the same time its tough leaving home. 21 with no wife or kids so I guess I'm a good candidate lol.
