Around the 160 mark is average for a company requirement. If you're looking at private CDL school, you'll want to make sure they're around that number or beyond. Mine was 200 hours. If you have specific companies you're interested in now, call their recruiters and ask for how many hours they'd like to see, then compare that w/ whatever school you're looking at. Better to be sure. At the other end of the spectrum, if you know what school you'd like to attend, and have some companies on your radar, make sure those companies hire from your prospective school.
