I was at the Flying J on -40 just before Albuquerque, NM. I had just pulled in for the night, was doing my logs and as I looked up, I saw a "lizzard" get out of a truck, walk around to the next and get in, it wasn't no more than 10 min that I noticed the same one go to the next truck, get turned down and then go to the next. This women was doing the line of trucks... I couldn't believe it. Some of the things you see..

I "go to" answer when I am asked for money "Sorry but I only use company credit cards" works every time without fail. It shuts them up and they walk away.

I guess non drivers don't realize companies will not buy me my expensive toys. Or my food. What they don't know will not hurt them.

Hey....I want props for a resume' like that !!!! Now I know why they call me the "Matriarch". The good thing about being in trucking so long ?? I was drivin' when it was fun....when the White Knights of the road still existed.....when you could park in "party row" and not worry about being molested by some pervert with a cdl.......when you earned respect, no matter what you drove, how you drove it, or whether you were a man or a woman. Our society is a sad state of affairs....I'm darned glad I"m old....I don't think I wanna see the next go 'round.....
