Heading in to Springfield to start my Upgrade Classes with Prime Inc. on the 28th and after all the people I've talked to and seen on the road over the last 3 months I'm still sitting on the fence about which way I want to go...Anyway if anyone is in Springfield during this time and want to meet up let me know..

Yay! Glad you're going solo Ken. Thrilled to have been a part of it! You'll do fine, just take it slow and easy. Congrats.

Congrats, Ken! I'll be there in early September, so maybe we'll run into each other there sometime, or back in NC.

Hey Ken, I'll be in Springfield around the 29th or so to get my APU looked at and hopefully to get another student. Shoot me a message on here and we can meet up at the café and grab a bite to eat. Look forward to meeting you and good luck with your next adventure.

APU:

Auxiliary Power Unit

On tractor trailers, and APU is a small diesel engine that powers a heat and air conditioning unit while charging the truck's main batteries at the same time. This allows the driver to remain comfortable in the cab and have access to electric power without running the main truck engine.

Having an APU helps save money in fuel costs and saves wear and tear on the main engine, though they tend to be expensive to install and maintain. Therefore only a very small percentage of the trucks on the road today come equipped with an APU.
