Start School On Monday

Hi everyone. I am so excited! I start trucking school on Monday in Burlington, IA. I have raised my kids, been divorced now I'm ready to do something I have always wanted to do but couldn't due to family obligations. Me Time has arrived and I'm taking advantage. I have read your advice for other newbies and have taken it to heart. I used the training materials on the site and passed my exams for my permit on the first try...woohoo. Looking forward to any and all advice you ladies can give me as I start my new life and career. Vee

Welcome Vee and good luck on starting school Monday. I too am divorced and kids are grown so will be starting school in the next few months. I really believe there are a lot of women in our shoes and you have found a good place for support!

Trucking has allowed women to accomplish so many things !!! Independence, adventure, a new beginning, financial security, and the chance to show what a woman can REALLY do.....Its not an easy job...but theres more good about it than bad...So pull on your big girl panties.....and grab that brass ring !!!!!
