Mad Hatter if flatbed in is what ya want and you want to get started faster then just head to Prime. They have a school plus a growing flatbed division and be trained from the start in flatbedding. Then after a little experience then go to TMC. Since TMC is also for new drivers you could go there with very little experience. Not recommending jumping ship right away. Just mentioning an extra road to the place you want to go. Better to have two ways to get there than just one. Just don't count on driving the classic 379 peterbuilts they have. They are phazing them out for new and more fuel efficient Petes. Hope ya get what ya need going through WIA.
I just wanted you to know there is a faster method to accomplish what you want and for free.
Jolie I see where your coming from. Company school can be an extremely fast pace and very stressful for new people. I thrive in those situations. I like the make it or break it deal. Either I have it or don't. Rather find out sooner than later. Not everyone likes the faster pace and that's completely OK. I rather have well trained drivers out here instead of people that rushed through and were passed just to move them on.
