Looks like I did it! Top tier driver status!

In a company as massive as Prime, I am very proud of myself. Prime has the largest refrigerated fleet in the nation and I truly can't believe I was one of the top last month. Hard work pays off! I had a really bad week this week and this made it into a good week. I'll tell you about that in a few days but for now its celebrating for me.

And as a side bonus, I got my first Military trailer yesterday. Check it out! Sexy!

Completely awesome Daniel. With a large company like Prime sometimes you feel all your efforts are over looked and even when your not looking for recognition it does feel good when it does happen. Great job

Sorry for the late response. I have been battles I70 in UT and CO the past two days with a 45K load in my trailer.

@James, I don't think you would want me. I'm not as good as all of you think I am.

@Jolie, thank you very much! The time is well-spent. Always good to not be selfish with your time and try to help others as much as possible.

And to add about those skirts. They indeed do make the trailer more aerodynamic, but they also make it easier for your trailer to be pushed around side to side. However, it does help that wind cannot go underneath your trailer as easily and sweep your trailer off its feet. Yes, wind can be that powerful.

As far as the "strange contraption" on the end of the trailer. That's called a Trailer Tail. They too make the trailer more aerodynamic. As you drive, air is being "vacuumed" behind your trailer. This creates yet another drag. The Trailer Tails basically eliminate this and make the air shoot straight off of your trailer instead of going straight down behind your trailer. I'm not sure if my description makes any sense, but I think you get it.

@Guyjax, thank you sir! Your words are always appreciate.

@Bud, thank you very much!

@MG, yes its very pretty. I don't get as much #'s as I used to in my Pinkle though. sorry.gifrofl-1.gif

@Brett, thank you for educating me on hard work in this industry. Your work just paid off for me.

@Tarren, Yeah! I did that much dancing too!

@Sandman, Thanks for the kind words.

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

I don't think your company agrees with you. rofl-3.gif
