I thought this was a pretty decent article about the correlation between driver shortages and compensation.

It's nothing new and not much we can do about it. I've come to the realization that we need to just do what we do and hope that it gets to the point where there is an extreme driver shortage and I believe at that point I'm sure Carriers will start bumping up pay but it still won't be enough.
