Yes they will honor your permit. However, you may have to have it transferred to their state. What I mean is.... When I came to Roehl, I had my class A learner's permit. I had to transfer it to WI when I got here for school. Once I completed school, I had a WI CDL-A. I went home and had to transfer it back to NC. It gets kind of costly. Had I know then what I know now, I may have waited and tested the endorsements once school was over.
As for the school, I have no idea. Basically all the company paid programs are going to do is get you driving and pay you low for the first year. After that the sky is the limit. Just remember to try and complete your first year wherever you start no matter how bad it is. Stick it out and tyr to keep your record clean. Best of luck!

Well for starters I was going to go to MTC Trucking school in Hazelwood, MO but I read awful reviews. Can anyone tell me if there a good school or not? Second I did some shopping around for free cdl training. I found so far that Prime seems to be the best. I read great reviews on here . SO with that being said I called up talk to someone got them all the info they needed im waiting for a call back tomorrow. So went to dmv week earlier studied and got my class A permit in ny. So my question is will they honor my permit from ny ?
