Hello fellow drivers. A quick poll for ya`all. I'm looking for an inexpensive Bluetooth earpiece or light headset that is: not gaudy with a huge boom covering your face like a football helmet, that's light, loud so you can hear the person on the other end over road/engine noise. And can hear you and not road/engine noise. Under $100 is preferable, but if I have to pay more to get what I need, then so be it. What do you use?

I was reading some driver reviews on this one the other day that spoke very positively about it.

Blue Parrot Headset

Its not a full headset but you have to have some boom on the mic you plan on anyone being able to hear you after the noise cancelling does its job. The amazon reviews kinda go back and forth on it so I have been holding up on trying this one as of yet.

Awesome! I appreciate the link. This looks right up my alley.

Yea you definitely want to go with the blue parrot. I tried a smaller headset from plantronics but couldn't hear anyone on the other end. I switched to the BP and I couldn't be happier. People can hear me very well and I can hear them. I wasn't a fan of the size either at first but you get used to it. If you're going to drive truck there's no better options.

Y'all have talked me into it!! My wife found one online for $79 and it should be at the house waiting for me when I go home for a few days at the end of the month.

I've been using the Platronics Voyager I've been happy with it. it's pretty light and it has a clear voice. http://www.amazon.com/Plantronics-Voyager-Legend-Bluetooth-Headset/dp/B00DQ5NU76/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1408073042&sr=8-1&keywords=plantronics+voyager
