Second day of orientation was good. I watched lots of video.

Tomorrow, I will have my Company Road Evaluation.

Today, I passed the Celadon Road Evaluation, yet did not pass the Seeside Alley Dock.

I am done with the driving part, but Monday, I need to retake the alley dock test.

Are you still in Laredo? I just finished my first week here. I read your entire thread, really liked it.

Hi

I am still here at the terminal. I usually am inside the Orientation Room.

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

Probably, we have met already. I went to DPS with the new class to take Doubles/Triples and tanker Endorsements last week.

Next week, I will take the test for the passenger endorsement.

Doubles:

Refers to pulling two trailers at the same time, otherwise known as "pups" or "pup trailers" because they're only about 28 feet long. However there are some states that allow doubles that are each 48 feet in length.
