I've been OTR for 4 months now and just realized the showers at some service plazas in Ohio are free. I-80 exit 197 and 239 probably more but those ones I know for sure. I was happy to find parking at 11:00 at night then a free shower. Also the laundry machines are cheaper than a truck stop.
There's a place in Wendover NV that does free showeres for CDL holders. Just need your lic on hand..
Its the last exit in wendover going east and first going west. It's in between a shevron and the pilot/ J stop, across from Rainbow. Plenty of truck parking.o
