its team with the trainer though right?<\blockquote>
First 50 hrs you drive with them in passenger seat and then if they like what they see after the 50, you go to team for the rest. It was 240 hrs of drive time when I went through swift, but like driver it's been over two years now. But 190hrs of your driving is team and it goes pretty quick. 4-6 weeks. I enjoyed it.

Knight is probably gonna be your best bet for a higher chance of getting the proper training you need. I'm not saying these other companies are bad but Knight does not run you like a team and the Trainer is required to be sitting as a passenger while you are driving. When I went through training with them trainees were only supposed to be driving 8 hours a day but of course I played rock, paper, scissors with my trainer on who got to drive because we both hated sitting as a passenger all day. Its super boring! Haha...
Hopefully you get a dispatcher out of Oregon, they understand driver issues better and care about your well being. If you have questions about Knight let me know I'll try to answer them but I haven't been with the company for over 2 years now.
Dispatcher:
Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager
The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.
