You get to buy your own...truck stops have them. Don't get a regular one that you'd use in your car. The ones for truckers usually show the truck routes. I like the laminated ones...then I can use a dry erase, and plot my route !!!
Figured as much....you would buy your own. Is the $38 dollar price on eBay good? Is the laminated spiral bound 2015
Seems like a good price. That's about what they go for on amazon too.
$39.95 directly from Rand McNally, cost me $6.95 for shipping and came by UPS in 5 days. Yes the 2015 Truckers laminated, fresh off the presses.
For drivers in the U.S.A. (most of the folks here), you can claim this as a work related expense. Training, can be claimed as a work related expense as well. If your expenses are greater than 2% of your Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) you must itemize them. Itemization requires you list the expense and retain the receipts. If you buy something for work a CB, a road atlas, a GPS, even clothes if they're specific to the work and not regular clothes (PPE anyone?) it can be deducted from your AGI.
Two percent is the number above which you must itemize, so keep your receipts.
RM is always a good investment. $38 is a good price. Hard copy maps never malfunction, and double as great place mats.

Just wondering if companies provide a road atlas?? I put GPS units & Hudson maps in my F350's for my crews....better to get them to the job.....rather than have them lost. I see eBay has 2015 Rand McNally laminated spiral type for $38 - seems like a good price ?
