Yeah. Wish I could be a Rock 'n Roll driver like YOU. I go to NIN at Red Rocks and what do I take a picture of? No. Not Trent Reznor. No. Iiii take photos of his fleet of three or four 53-footers carrying all his equipment!

YOU get to haul the really FUN freight!

smile.gif I am not going to lie, this is by far the most fun I have had in my life. The only thing that could top this is driving for a NASCAR team. Even though I have already made some production runs and helped on a couple tours, I still can`t believe they chose me.

Gawd. You're on TOUR. Were I able to go OTR , I would totally shoot for a job like that. Totally. I worked on crew for Dolly Pardon and Kenny Rogers once. Totally fun.

OTR:

Over The Road

OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.

Well I'm glad they dropped the whole $3,000 thing and that chapter is over. Now you can move forward. Last week I rented a dumpster so I could throw out a bunch of old stuff that collected around the place and it felt great. Now you've done the same. That old junk is out of the way and you have a clean slate to work with.

Thanks Brett.

Yeah, the $3,000 was really meant for the 12 week-ers who started without even a permit, but having processed only a couple of 5-week new CDL drivers, I think they really didn't have a policy in place, so as a matter of course, they used the same contract. I'm fortunate, in a sense. My 5-week "classmate" who passed the orientation class, is obligated to them for a year, and he's already not happy about it. He too, was promised a $3,000 bonus and didn't get it but he has to pay them if he leaves early. I'm the fortunate one. They did me a little favor. I'm free. He's stuck.

Sometimes I'll write down an experience I've wanted to forget, printed it out, thrown it in the fireplace, and watched it burn ...or shredded it first, then watched it burn. It's cathartic.

Wow. What a great idea! I could use a dumpster for a week!
