Larry, while none of us have experience with that particular school, for the most part community college truck driving courses are usually better or perhaps I should say more thorough than the private schools. While they both have to meet minimum standards set by the state, the community colleges also have to meet the hours required to fill the necessary semester hours. Generally because of that you will cover not only more material, but will cover things more thoroughly. The main thing you want to make sure of is that you will receive a training certificate showing a minimum of 160 hours training.

Any body have any experience with the truck driving program at the State Fair Community College in Sedalia, MO? I live 30 miles from there so it would be perfect for my situation. It is not listed in the truck driving schools here on Trucking Truth.
Thanks
