TW, if you took and passed the test, they will have a record of it. I think you can get this straightened out with a phone call. It's probably gonna give you a slight delay though. Get on top of it first thing Monday morning and see if they can fax something to you showing evidence of the hazmat endorsement.

If it was entered into the DMV computer there will be a record of it and should be easy to clear up.

I passed all my 3 endorsements: HAZMAT , Double/Triple, Tanker. I just recently moved from AZ to OH. Today I am applying to a trucking company and looked on the back of my CDL license and noticed it is only showing 2 endorsements: "T" double/triple and "N" tanker endorsements on my license. I am ****ed off. I paid and worked my tail off to get 3 endorsements and they only put 2 endorsements on my license? I should have looked closer at my CDL before I left the state of Arizona. That state cannot do anything right!
Has this happened to anyone? The job I am applying for in Ohio requires HAZMAT endorsement.
Did you pay the fee for your FBI Background check? It won't be on your license until that background check comes back for your Hazmat.

Exactly !! Did you get a letter from TSA or Universal Enrollment telling you that you cleared? only then will DMV have it on record so that you can get it added to your license. Don't be surprised if you end up getting a paper copy, while they send out to get a brand new license for you (NH)

I'm licensed in Oregon and I had to take a letter I got in the mail to DMV that showed I passed the background check.

Can't speak for other states - but in Florida - they issue you a CDL without the endorsement, and when the TSA approval comes through (because they don;t apply for the BG check until you pass your written), they simply mail you a new license with the proper endorsements on it (since the photos are on the computer anyway).
Obviously, a call to your local DMV is in order, to see what the story is in your jurisdiction.

Yes you need to pass the tsa background check and fingerprinting and bring their letter with you to the dmv so there is more to it than just passing the written test.

In PA when you have a Tanker and Hazmat they list it as an X. One letter for 2 endorsements.
