I'm going to be in the same boat, I'm a Firefighter and getting ready to retire (51 yrs old.) and I want to get into driving. The question I have is these companies that train you do you get paid while doing it, what kind of money can I expect to start off?

Hey Brother, from my few weeks of treading water, you do not get paid for 17 days of GREAT training. Just a little over two weeks of a paid period. As in money, you and I are in the same boat. Anything is better than going to a domestic call or a fully involved. I miss hearing them old Plectrons going off. I remember the first time showing up at the house, you were giving a plectron and told. "I BETTER, See you tonight."

The answer is yes you get paid and it all depends on which company, how much. Prime is the big money for training. There is a bunch of info on here about them and the others. good-luck.gif
