I'm sitting here in hodgkins IL, and next to me is a truck missing its steer....

As you can see they still drive it. Guess it was good as they'd be blocking the entrance...

This is why you should be aware of your surroundings at all times. Always get out of you feel your gonna hit something. Even if your going to run over a curb, think about the outcome of what might happen when you do...

I'd hate to be the DM that received this call...

Dm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

Ouch! With that much weight I wonder if the rim was bent or there was tie rod damage. I'd hate to be the driver as much as the DM.

He was empty. Backing in to dock. In one of those pictures though. You can see the marks get left from rolling on the rim.

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

So what did he do once he was loaded? Take off or did someone come out and fix it while he was getting loaded?
