Hey congrats Adam - that's awesome! Man, I was worried there in the beginning but you did what it took to get through it successfully. Great job! Just keep that same attitude for your time in training and those first few months running solo. There are still going to be a lot of ups and downs and some hard lessons learned but that's just par for the course. You just keep moving forward one day at a time and you'll get through it all just fine.
Dave, you definitely have the right attitude and approach to it. It's always tough going that first year. Getting your trucking career underway is an unbelievable challenge but it's well worth it!
Congratulations Adam! After the way you sounded in your first post I must say I am impressed that you were able to dig in and stick it out. That attitude will help you tremendously on the road.

I am glad Adam is doing better in school and thankful for the real advice you gave him Brett. You reminded me of what trucking companies are looking for, and the sifting they do to get the right people, with the right skills, that will be an asset, rather than a detriment to the company.
I want to travel. Right now I feel there is no better place to do that than behind the wheel of a truck crisscrossing the country. I need to be patient with everything that will happen once I go to school (I have never even driven a manual transmission before so this should be REAL interesting). Undoubedly there will be some things I will not like, but I am sure to find plenty of things and people I DO like. Ultimately, I want to travel and make some money doing it, while getting the job done. Thanks for keeping it real.
