Well my number would be 5x2 or 10. The coroner will decide when I am through driving. If u live that long I will be the 85 year old driver that people refer to when the age question comes up.
So that's 10 with a side of 4 thrown in.

This OTR lifestyle isnt for most ppl. Matter of fact ive come to the conclusion that us "lost souls" are the only ones truly cut out to hack it out here long term.
OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.

I drove for about 15 years. The first 12+ years I felt #5 - just an amazing career and lifestyle! Priceless for someone with my personality.
Then in the last few years I started feeling like #2 where it was like, "This has been awesome but I think I've been out here long enough. Time to start looking for an exit plan."
I never got to where I didn't like trucking. I've just always been one that likes to keep life moving forward. I want to keep evolving as a person and I want my life experiences to keep evolving. After so many years out there I felt like things became stagnant and the adventure was beginning to become an ordinary job. It was time for new horizons!
