They should use this one......
Oh how I wish I had enough money to put one right there!
The only difference is that these are real chickens killed. KFC is fake chickens, I unfortunately had the terrible experience of working there.
WHAT? I suppose next your gonna tell us there's no such thing as santa.
That is awesome!!! How much to erect such a memorial. The only thing I would change is the ending. I would want to make PETS look like fools.

No He's reals.. So is Kwanzaa Bot.
I raise some animals myself, including chickens, and I treat all of my animals with respect and care. I make sure they're safe, comfortable, healthy, and very well fed. From the day I get them to the day they leave this life they are very well taken care of.
But a roadside memorial to chickens???
Apparently publicity really is all that matters to PETA because they certainly don't have anyone there whose job it is to review proposals and ask, "Will the proposed campaign hurt our credibility with the general public?"
No, not at all PETA. You don't sound like lunatics at all! (sarcasm)
Its a good thing to care about animals, but when there are so very many other issues one has to wonder about PETA's misguided attempt at making the world a better place.
It's a funny thing, I've made all kinds of sacrifices for my animals, but PETA has never even acknowledged all my efforts. I even built a sling to support the weight of a crippled cow so she could regain her strength and get back to health one time. Even my vet said I was crazy, but she pulled through. Oh well, and don't even get me started on the things I've done for my chickens. Yeah, they are publicity seekers, because that is how they wrangle money out of the bleeding hearts out there who don't know any better.
Man These durn modern day hippies. In Georgia one year PETA protested out side of the Golden Corals because they started serving steak on the buffet. I went over there and they were chant some hippie chant. As i walked up to the door one of them asked me to petition to get. rid of GC because of them serving steak. I said "Bro thats why im here to get my steak on." He tried to tell me that there is a tofu substitute for steak. I said "Really? So how long do you cook it if you want it medium rare? I dont want to cook all the blood out because that is the best part?" At this point the guys face turned as red as a tomato. So I sat right by the front window where they were protesting and scarfed down about two huge pieces of medium rare steaks.
I like the idea of a memorials, especially in this case of mass killings. What an unnecessary tragedy.
PETA Wants Roadside Memorial For Chickens Killed In Crash
BRYAN (October 9, 2014) The animal rights group the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals wants to erect a 10-foot high roadside memorial at the site where an 18-wheeler loaded with chickens overturned last month in Bryan.
PETA is requesting permission from the Texas Department of Transportation to place the memorial at the intersection of Highway 21 and FM 2818, the Houston Chronicle reported.
On Sept. 30, a Sanderson Farms truck hauling about 5,500 chickens overturned there when the load shifted.
Some of the birds were killed.
The memorial would bear the inscription, “In memory of the hundreds of terrified chickens who suffered and died at this spot September 30 2014. Go Vegan, PETA."
What about all the insects killed by us evil truck drivers!? I`m forming a new group: People for the Ethical Treatment of Insects (PETI)...
...This is where I would normally cuss and berate a lot...
PETI...lol this made me laugh!
