Companies That Let Me Train

I would like to go to a private school get my cdl then pick a company and do my training. Eventually I would like my wife join and we drive as a team. I have been told that some companies would let me train her after her she gets out of school with her cdl. I was told Werner is a company that would allow me to do this. Is this true and are there other companies that would let me do this as well

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

Not sure on companys that do, I know swift does when I rolled, went through primes orientation and they told me I could train my wife, GTI are going to allow me to train my wife after 6 months..

You may be required to have xxx amount of time with a company before they lwt you train your spouse or anyone else.
