You are going to be learning about company policies for turning in your paperwork (trip sheets), getting set up for payroll, doing a physical, you will be road tested, they are gonna have something on safety (maybe the smith system training) things like that. They will also do a drug test, and sometimes it will take two or three days just to get the results back on that. You will usually become an employee once they get the drug test results back. You may even just be sitting around some of the time waiting on them to get some of the paperwork processed on you. It's typical trucking stuff - hurry up and wait!
Once they've cleared that drug test hurdle things will start moving a lot faster. You will meet your trainer after you are made an employee.

I am wondering what the 3 days consist of? When do you meet your trainer? I believe when you come already with your CDL , you are considered an employee. I know there are DOT physicals but do you do road tests, pre trip, etc?
CDL:
