So, I just spoke to the Prime recruiter and told him of my height concerns and he said that I should just go to a truck stop and find a Prime driver and ask to sit in his truck. Then call him back and let him know how it went? How many of you guys would let some stranger sit in your truck just to see if they could reach the peddles?

5'2" And everyone is telling me its cool but I don't want to get sent home from a school because of my height. If you know what I mean.

I don't think you will have a problem finding a driver willing to let you sit in the driver's seat for a few minutes. Just explain your situation. There are still a few good drivers out there.

The Freightliner is a good truck for short people. I drive a new evolution and am very comfortable driving it. I drove Volvos when I was with Sygma and they fit me well also. But I drove a Peterbilt for my drive test with Prime and had a stretch to put the clutch to the floor.

My fiancee is 4'10" and can adjust the seat and steering to fit in my 2013 freighliner cascadia.

Yea, I'm pretty much over being worried about it but been told that the peterbilts aren't as friendly so i just been asking what kind of truck I would be testing and training in.

ahhh-HA!

PJ, weren't you referring to someone as a "girlfriend" not-too long ago? Hmmm. Sounds like this friendship has "upgraded" to a new level ...
