I'm quickly coming up on my first year in trucking and I have never heard the order in which they pop mentioned. Reasoning behind it makes sense. Was that on the test in your state?

Since there are no answers:-

4/32 of an inch

Once a day

Pre-trip, During Trip ( especially at each stop, it only takes one nutcase to pull your trailer release arm) and post trip.

14

😀

I might add that it's wise to check your load every 3 hours or 150 miles.

You will instantly fail the pre trip if you do not say that that the tractor valve cannot pop before your trailer valve at the DMV i was tested at. Fail your pre trip and you do not even get to try your backing or road test.

Dm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

DMV:

Department of Motor Vehicles, Bureau of Motor Vehicles

The state agency that handles everything related to your driver's licences, including testing, issuance, transfers, and revocation.

When you drive a tractor trailer combination equipped with ABS, you should:

A) Use only the braking force necessary to stop and stay in control.

B) Brake the same way, regardless if you have ABS on the tractor, trailer , or both.

C) As you slow down, monitor your tractor and trailer and back off on the brakes (if it is safe to do so) to stay in control.
