Thinking About Celadon Instead Of Stevens

So I currently have no experience in a Tractor trailer rig but I am very interested in pursuing a career in the transportation industry. At first I was thinking about going to stevens transports cdl school but I've heard a lot of bad reviews about this school and company. I've been reading some good things about celadon but didn't find it on the comany sponsored training section of this site. Any input or advice would be greatly appreciated! Anything you can tell me about celadon or stevens would be awesome. Any other helpful information is also appreciated! Thanks in advance.

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

There are loads of posts on TT about Celadon. Try going to the search bar and typing the word Celadon and the posts should come up.

I don't know anything about Stevens. So I can't say one way or another.

Just keep looking for the posts you'll find them.
