I have a job offer from both companies running the southeast regionalregional. Both offer weekendweekend homtimhomtime. One paying .40 per mile the other .44 per mile. But I need more information on the two companies before I make a decision. Please help me!
Dart is headquartered in Minnesota.....where I am from, I was going to sign on with them until I got a better offer from Werner. I have a friend who is a fleet manager their, but he is on the O/O side. I like the vacation package 1 WK aft 1 yr, 2 WK after 3 yr, and 3 weeks after 5 years, but I am a newbie out of school so they don't tell us the pay experienced drivers get.
Not much info, but something anyway
Usually refers to a driver hauling freight within one particular region of the country. You might be in the "Southeast Regional Division" or "Midwest Regional". Regional route drivers often get home on the weekends which is one of the main appeals for this type of route.
