Just curious how or why you pick one over the other, where here in northern California and all 3 are at this exit, where at the T/A. Is one BETTER than the other, better rewards, amenities, etc?

You're in Corning, CA!

I prefer Loves for merchandise, but not for parking.

I prefer Pilot/Flying J for showers but not for the fast food restaraunts in there. I like to mainly park here too.

I'm not a fan of TA and Petro. But they are the best to go to if you're parking late and you're not sure if you'll have a parking spot available. Their lots are a lot bigger than the other truck stops usually.

They all have their ups and down. I mainly go where my shower points are.

I like TA the most. Nicer showeres, though the others are catching up fast on this. The biggest reason is their all you can eat soup and salad bar. Its really good and hits the spot every time.

It's funny because over the years the T/A's were the most erratic of all truck stops. They had no standards for their franchises. Some of the nastiest truck stops in the country are T/A's but so are some of the sweetest! It really goes location to location. There were some I wouldn't go near and there were some I wouldn't pass without stopping in.

What most people do is lick the floor in the bathroom. If it tastes good you're at a great truck stop! rofl-3.gif
