So here's the situation. 13 years ago I moved from FL to AL for a specific reason. At the time I was driving for a SE flatbed carrier. (Prior to that I had been an O/O for 3 years.) It soon became apparent that the 2 where not going to mix so I stepped out of trucking. When I went to transfer my FL CDL to AL I didn't have a copy of my long form so I just surrendered my license. Now, I'm looking at getting back into trucking. My question is, is there any way to get my CDL back without having to go through CDL school again (attended and passed in 1987) or has too much water gone by and I have to start all over? Thank you in advance for sharing your insights.
