On I-90 eastbound in this snow storm. Got 2 feet on the road and a dumb ass UPS driver hauling doubles nearly ran us off the road has gone an got stuck in front of us. I 90 is closed both ways.

Damn, that sucks dude. Nice to see UPS hasn`t stopped plowing the roads for us. fedex too. If you see one of them coming up to your back door, let off and let `em go, chances are you will be passing them back.

Doubles:

Refers to pulling two trailers at the same time, otherwise known as "pups" or "pup trailers" because they're only about 28 feet long. However there are some states that allow doubles that are each 48 feet in length.

Funny...I live about 15 minutes North of Buffalo and we have 2" of snow...gotta love Lake Effect.

I live in Attica and we've gotten over two feet so far but it's getting kind of hard to tell at this point. The winds are blowing everything around quite a bit. The forecast keeps changing so I have no idea what it's going to do today. I'm supposed to have a new bed delivered today but I don't know if that will happen or not.

Swift had 27 trucks stuck along that section of I 90. I know some got out and others are still stuck...

5 people have died along there so far :(

This is one of the best storms we've ever had. I'm really not sure anymore how much snow I've gotten at my place but it's somewhere around 6 feet so far in the past 3 days and it's coming down at 3-4 inches an hour. It's going to keep snowing for the next 24 hours. Fortunately I just bought a huge snowblower and I'm used to this stuff so my animals and I are perfectly fine. In fact, I just had a new bed delivered yesterday during a break in the storm so I slept better than ever!

Yap, as I was typing this they said my area has another 24-36 inches coming in the next 24 hours. Pretty awesome! I'll take some pics once the sun comes up and I go out there to do chores.

Hopefully they had full fuel tanks. But generally speaking everyone will be taken care of. They can either walk somewhere or people will bring food and water to them on snowmobiles and such.

The actual area that got hit isn't all that big. But man did it get hit! What I can't understand is why people would live in this area without 4 wheel drive. You should need a mental evaluation driving around Western New York in a car. No way!

Google "Buffalo Snow" and look at the pictures of this storm. They're hysterical! I was just looking through some for about 10 minutes and my stomach hurts from laughing so hard. It's truly incredible, even for those of us who grew up here.

How's that for snow??? That's what remains visible of my pickup truck. I just took that a few minutes ago. Amazing storm - tons of fun!
