Every company has a long list of bad reviews. Most are false, written by people with an axe to grind. I've heard good things from guys on youtube about Werner. Their videos show the company a lot of love. That's my only knowledge about them.
Ignore the reviews. When you're comparing companies, compare them based on their merits: home time, equipment, types of freight, opportunities for work in different divisions, pay & benefits, and things like that. All trucking companies make money the same way - hauling as much freight as they can as efficiently as possible. If you're an awesome driver with a fantastic attitude - a true professional that knows how to get the job done day in and day out - any company will keep your wheels turning and keep those paychecks rolling in.
The only opinions I recommend you get are from their current drivers, face to face. Go to a truck stop and speak with several drivers from any company you're interested in. Those are the drivers that are out there doing it successfully for the company day in and day out. You don't want unverifiable, anonymous knuckleheads in forums giving you advice about a company. You want someone that you know is working for the company and you want to look them in the eye when they're talking to you. People act completely different when speaking anonymously versus face-to-face. They're a lot more honest when they're being held accountable. Talk to them while they're fueling up or when they're walking into the truck stop. Do not knock on doors in the parking lot - people don't like that. But they won't mind a conversation while they're fueling or on their way inside.
You're not looking for a "good company". They can all be good companies. What you're looking for is a company that suits you well. Their home time, equipment, pay & benefits, and future opportunities all seem like what you're looking for. That's how you choose a company.
We actually have a category of articles on this topic and they're very important. Have a look:
How To Choose A Truck Driving Job
When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.
It is like Brett said. Heck, of you put everyone that either works or worked for Werner in a room, which is what a blog basically is, you would not come to a conclusion. Talking to current drivers on the road you will get the good, bad and ugly of a company. You will find out more from them, than some disgruntled former employee.

A recruiter came to see us a school today spitting a good game. I was wondering if anyone has any personal experiences with their company policies and keeping good on what they say. I have heard some bad reviews of the company, more than I have from other big companies. Some expert and honest advice is needed. I liking Werner, Schneider, and Gordon trucking. Also like TMC.
