I'm not sure to tell ya the truth. Maybe one of the other drivers on here will know.
Can someone tell me who is "AR" tanker? I have seen these trucks for the last few years around the Fort Worth Texas area and I want to investigate!
Maybe Arkansas??? The abbreviation is AR...
I thought Arkansas as well, but nothing shows up? I can find nothing except a few pictures of the tankers on Google? I was curious because the equipment always appears very well kept. I'll keep my eyes open and maybe I will find a driver stopped and can ask. The trucks seem to be company tractors, but only DOT license on sides and no company contact info? Some exclusive tanker company I guess??
A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.
State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.
You are probably seeing AR Transport. I saw them everyday when I was OTR. AR Transport
OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.
