Well this thread certainly explains why it takes you guys so long to pass each other lol. So would the random few trucks I see going like 74 be O/O or is there a company that actually allows that?

My brother drives for a small company (18 trucks) and drives 72 - 78 mph regularly. But that's mostly on state highways and county roads in the Midwest. And like I said, it's a small company - they don't even participate in DAC.
A truck drivers DAC report will contain detailed information about their job history of the last 10 years as a CDL driver (as required by the DOT).
It may also contain your criminal history, drug test results, DOT infractions and accident history. The program is strictly voluntary from a company standpoint, but most of the medium-to-large carriers will participate.
Most trucking companies use DAC reports as part of their hiring and background check process. It is extremely important that drivers verify that the information contained in it is correct, and have it fixed if it's not.
My Cascadia was set to 70 mph which worked good thru MN and ND with wide open lanes , also was being passed by Grain haulers (ND speed limit was 75 mph). Have a Dash gage MPG computer that didn't like me flooring it up the hills and would have a Brite yellow warning light because of low fuel mpg !! was annoying at night !! Fixed it with some black electrical tape !! Also with light truck traffic , I would also back off a couple mph so I would have a reserve speed to get around slower trucks , Dan
If you drive for Prime I suggest you set the cruise on 58 and role. I found that to be the 'sweet spot' for hitting my fuel bonus.

I get so stoked when I pass someone but usually it's just another Prime.
