It was a bank. I had a counting error that led to a shortage in my teller drawer. Due to the amount of shortage, they had to let me go. No theft, and no suspicion of it.

Just be up front about what happened with the recruiter if you decide to contact one. I'm sure that it shouldn't be a problem at all, bad things happen to good people sometimes.

How do training companies typically feel about hiring you if you were let go from a previous job? I've applied with one company already and was honest about what happened. I'm just hoping that this won't hurt my chances at getting hired somewhere.
