Too many places to quote. Boy am I glad that I’m going to a contracted school!!! That sounded rough. Nightmarish even!
Thank you!
What does this mean? If you want to make lots of comments, feel free. Or simply ask questions here. You said you were going with Swift. I assumed you would be in Swift's Academy. But I know they also contract to schools.
The issues I dealt with will be the same for any school. There is no "country club school", especially if a trucking company is going to pay for it. Being a Veteran, I lived through (USAF) Basic training. The pressure to complete the course here is very similar. Ya wanna talk nightmare? Ask a Marine! Company or contract school, you will still be under pressure to get from Zero to Pass in about four weeks - same as I did.
My CDL school experience is over four years old. I actually taught at this same school last year, and things have changed a bit since then. I can't say it's easier now, but it is different.
If you have any questions, just post here or on the General Discussion board. G-Town also had his own version of Swift's "Nightmare" and he's glad he did! Best of luck, Tina!
