Passed this morning. Will be picking up my CDL on Wednesday morning. It's funny I passed because today I drove a lot worse than on Friday because I was out of the truck for the weekend. I racked up quite a few points today, whereas on Friday I only had 3-4 points. Still... a pass is a pass. Finally over with this portion of my quest.

RedGator, Mr. Ricabonne said you should stop by and give a pep talk to some of the new students!

  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

Hey, way to go! We weren't worried about you though. We knew you'd get it the second time. Just a formality, really.

Ya may have had less points last time but ya had that auto fail, see an auto fail is normally something that could cause a serious accident resulting in death. don't worry bout how many points ya had that doesn't show on ur CD or ur driving just remember there's always room for improvement. lso congrats bud glad to hear ya passed, there goes another child of TT out the door to success.

I am sure we can arrange something sometime. Now I need to be in Coraopolis, PA on the 28th so I can wake up nice and early for orientation on Wednesday the 29th.

Got through all my drug stuff at Reading... but interestingly I need to see an eye doctor. The doctor today said I need glasses, which is weird because the doctor that did my DOT Physical for my Learner's Permit said I did not. So tomorrow morning I am going to see an eye doctor and probably shelling out $$$$ for glasses. I have 20/10 in my right eye and 20/70 in my left eye... and 20/10 with BOTH lol. Today's doctor said I need at least 20/40 in each eye so I need to go get my left eye fixed. Go figure.

That is indeed true. It's a requirement set by the DOT. I don't know how the one doctor missed that, but the second doctor is correct.

Yep I read the regulation today. I don't know how the other doctor missed it either, but it sucks I am going to have to pay for glasses when my combined vision is 20/10!
