Go to Americas Best on MacArthur RD. Next to Kmart. You get 2 pairs and the exam for 69.95. You need 2 pairs per dot regs in case one breaks.
Dumb quick question, since I've never heard about this and I want to do everything I can to be as legal as possible... But does this apply to contact lens wearers? I always go out with one pair of contacts and one pair of glasses, since I might as well be blind without em. Just want to be sure I know all the rules here!

Cool....Thanks Brett!!!! Don't know why I didn't the Notify button on this one,,,, Don't where my head was but again Brett that is very helpful information!!!!!,,,,, ThanksD-Wash...one of the big things they're looking for is how relaxed and confident you are behind the wheel. And they know at some point during the test you're going to miss a gear or something unexpected will happen and they want to see how you react to it. Keeping your cool under pressure is a critical skill for drivers. When they're testing you they're looking to make sure you can handle the pressure as well as handle that rig.
Also, don't worry about grinding gears. Everyone does it even after years and years of driving. They expect it. Again what they're looking for is how you handle a missed gear.
Lastly, there are a few things that are automatic failures - hitting a curb, coasting more than the length of the truck when in neutral, and rolling backward from a stop if you're on an incline. Be very aware of what they consider automatic failures. You do any of them even once and they will likely fail you.
Ultimately don't worry yourself too much about it. A lot of people fail the first and even the second time. It makes no difference. You sign up again and take it until you pass it. So don't go in there thinking it's all or nothing in one shot - it's not. Just relax and do your thing.
It can be a combination of both. If you have contacts in you have to have additional contacts aboard or a pair of glasses in case something happens.

Unless you have "special" eyes. Then it's way more than 69.95
