Thanks David. Enjoy your home time!
Yes, thanks for all your hard work and dedication putting this thread together! I always enjoy reading and following along with the daily driving journals you guys put in. Maybe some day whenever / if I ever get a chance to get back in a truck I will do the same :)

Last day and hometime!
I got up this morning around 630, it had been sprinkling last night but when I got up and looked out my curtin, it actually snowed enough to cover everything white. Remember I always say never trust the weather. Thats why. You never know when it may just sh** on you. lol
After I got dressed, got my coffee and settled into my seat, I called the number I was given the night before, guy answered asked for my delivery number and company name, after I gave him both he said drop the trailer in the north lot thats fenced in and grab an empty on the south end lot thats wide open. Darn I don't get to go into the cave. Oh well. It would have been nice If my QC info said drop n hook. I would have dropped last night and left for home. would have given me 3 days home rather then 2. oh well. still get most of today at home.
Dropped the load in the lot, stuck the bills in our registration box on the front of the trailer as I was instructed to do so by the guy i spoke with on the phone. Got hooked up to my empty sent my empty message to my DM and then sent a basic freeform message saying thanks for the great 2 weeks, heading home see ya thursday.
I get done with my side of the paper work, put myself on duty, do a quick pre-trip of my new empty and roll on home. My house is about 20 min drive so nothing special went on. Got my truck parked, got all my gear unloaded and went home.
This concludes my documentation of my 2 weeks.
I hope you all found some good information in here. I may bring this back to life down the road and do more. Right now Im going to focus on my home time, play a few games as my wife works tonight and relax. Its been a great two weeks.
If you all have any questions, please feel free to ask. I'll be on and off for the next 3 days.
Happy Trucking everyone,
David
